Please note: the quality of the photos used will affect the final product. When possible please provide original/uncropped photos. For best results use photos with good contrast. These lithophanes are square so photos will be cropped when necessary.

How it’s Made
Every Photo goes into in a 3D program to make a file out of it which then is printed out on a 3D printer, cleaned, assembled and equipped with a plug in LED light! I do some light editing of each photo to achieve the best contrast quality possible before the Lithophane file is created.
Each Lithophane is created with a 3D printer out of a material called Polylactic acid, (also known as PLA) which is a thermoplastic monomer derived from renewable, organic sources such as corn starch or sugar cane, making it both environmentally friendly as well as biodegradable.
